This policy covers the CalGrind waitlist website. It explains what we collect when you join the waitlist, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email us at hello@calgrind.com.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you type into the form. That is the only personal detail we ask for.
Like most websites, our hosting provider also records basic technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of your visit. We use this only to keep the site running and secure.
Why we collect it
We use your email address for one purpose: to tell you when CalGrind is ready and to offer you early access. We do this because you asked us to by joining the waitlist. We do not use your email for anything else, and we do not send unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your email address. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the waitlist, and only so they can do that job:
- Our website host, which stores the site and the form submissions.
- Our email delivery service, which sends the launch and early-access emails.
These providers may store data on servers outside your country. We choose providers that commit to protecting your information.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until CalGrind launches and we have invited you, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, and you can ask us to delete your details entirely by emailing hello@calgrind.com.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time. To do any of these, email hello@calgrind.com and we will act on your request.
Cookies and tracking
This waitlist site does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. We do not build a profile of you or follow you around the web.
Your data inside the app
The waitlist is separate from the CalGrind app. When the app launches, your personal nutrition data will be stored on your own device and will not be uploaded to us. The app will have its own privacy policy that covers this in full.
Children
The waitlist is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us their email, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. For significant changes, we will let you know by email.
